Hadleigh Bat Group

Hadleigh Bat Group has held over 30 events, including walks, surveys, talks, bat box construction and installation. We identified 8 different species of bat in our surveys and the findings were fed into local and national records. We have learnt how to monitor, identify and protect bats, with the help of a local expert.

Thanks to donations, grants and bat box sales we have purchased recording and detection equipment that has been put to good use.
